We appreciate as much planning time as possible, especially since it gives us more time to obtain even more valuable auction items for you. But we can still work with you on a compressed time schedule. A children’s cancer charity recently needed help. This was to be their third gala, but after adding up all the expected income and expenses, they realized the event would be a $20,000 loss.
We created a live auction, obtained most of the auction prizes, completely staffed the event, and even used our computerized system for registration and checkout. The net result? The auction’s $68,000 profit turned the event from a $20,000 loss to a $48,000 profit, and we did it all in twelve days! At another event, the organizers were worried that we wouldn’t get more than $5000.00 for an art piece. We sold it in less than ten minutes for $100,000! We sold a $28,000 value Harley Davidson motorcycle for $77,000.
